ISIN Educational Course: Brainstem and Peripheral Nervous System Neurophysiological Monitoring

The Educational Course (Cycle II, Part II) on ‘Brainstem and Peripheral Nervous System Neurophysiological Monitoring’ of the International Society of Intraoperative Neurophysiology (ISIN) will take place from 10 – 12 November 2016.
This year the course will be organized by the Department of Neurosurgery, Department of Neurology and the Wenckebach Instituut of the University Medical Center Groningen in cooperation with the ISIN. The venue is the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG), Groningen, The Netherlands.
ISIN’s Educational Course is yearly organized in 3-year cycles, covering the whole spectrum of intraoperative neuromonitoring. The previous course was organized in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, while next year the course has its venue in Seoul, Korea. The emphasis in this course will be on brainstem and peripheral nerve monitoring. Other important subjects of the course in Groningen are monitoring during surgery of the spine and deep brain stimulation.
The course is intended for neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, anesthesiologists, neurophysiologists, neurologists, residents, technologists (with interest in IONM), advanced practitioners and other physicians.
