2017 American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) Annual Scientific Meeting

Abstract Center Closes in Two Weeks
Ensure your research is considered for inclusion in the educational program for the 2017 American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) Annual Scientific Meeting. Make sure you submit your abstract in the abstract center before the submission portal closes at 5 p.m. CDT on Oct. 25, 2016.

This year, the Scientific Program Committee is introducing a third type of presentation: Rapid Fire Oral Presentations. These are three-minute oral presentations that will give more surgeons the opportunity to present research at the meeting. The top scoring electronic posters will be given this opportunity to present in a smaller setting.

Abstracts are peer-reviewed and scored on scientific merit, originality and the relevancy to the field of neurosurgery. Although scientific data is important, the quality of the abstract is the primary determinant for acceptance by the AANS Scientific Program Committee. Accepted abstracts are assigned to be presented as either an oral or electronic presentation.
