New Generation Neuroendoscopy Clinical Observer Course

The Karl Storz ENDOMIN Fellowship is directed to enthusiastic trainees in their last year of or shortly after residency who want to acquire sustained knowledge and skills in endoscopic and minimal invasive Neurosurgery.
The fellowship is designed for a period of 6 to 12 months, dependent of the skills of the fellow, and is located in part at the ENDOMIN Center in Stuttgart (Prof. Dr. med. Nikolai Hopf) as well as in Zurich (Prof. Dr. med. Robert Reisch). An additional rotation through the neuroanatomical laboratory at the Semmelweis University in Budapest/Hungary for a scientific project can be offered.
The fellow will be involved in the work up, operations and follow-up of all cases in the particular center, requiring profound clinical experience. Extraordinary knowledge or skills in endoscopic and minimal invasive Neurosurgery or profound knowledge of the German language are not required. However, if the applicant is not able to speak German, exposure to patients will be limited.
The Karl Storz ENDOMIN Fellowship provides 2.500,- € per months for the fellow including housing and food.
